Operation Officer
Ibrahim Sarafa joined Purlieu Estate Development Limited in February 2020 as Operation Officer. Prior to joining Purlieu EDL, Ibrahim was Editor for an online newspaper, TheSwitch newspaper.
In this new role, Ibrahim is involve in the day-to-day operations of the company and assists the Management in meeting set targets. He continues to explore his skills and experience in conducting expected activities at Purlieu EDL. Before joining Purlieu EDL, Ibrahim had worked as a teacher and moved up the ladder to become Principal, coordinating activities of the school. He also worked as a newspaper correspondent with Sahel Standard Newspaper, Abuja and covered activities at the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice and Budget and National Planning, all in the nation’s capital. He rose to become Editor at Sahel Standard Newspaper, Abuja.
He attended Wolex Polytechnic, Iwo, where he obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and also had a Diploma in Ticketing and Travel Management from Aeroland Aviation Institute, Lagos. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
Ibrahim is a dedicated person with a family of three and enjoys reading– and the knowledge perspective that comes from it gives him strength and boost his presentation abilities. He is a member of Iwoland Development Coalition, which is focused on social and economic development of Iwoland and also a good governance advocate.
